Procedure: Wash hair with hot water. Warm half a cup of olive oil in a pan or microwave for ten seconds. Be careful not to boil it. Apply it generously over your wet hair. Massage into your scalp and roots until all strands are fully covered. Let it stay for 30 to 40 minutes. Wear a shower cap to avoid leakage. Wash with thickening shampoo. These shampoos reach hair cuticles and help remove dye. Don’t re-dye for at least three days after giving olive oil treatment to your hair.
