How To Do Makeup To Give Natural Look

Applying subtle makeup may seem easy to do but in reality, it can be quite tricky.
Keep hands light while applying all makeup items; from concealer to mascara. Many women and girls don’t prefer heavy makeup that is caked-on and thick-layered. With proper application you can achieve desired results instantly.

Concealer
Hide scars and blemishes with a concealer if needed. Use yellow toned concealer as it can hide imperfections giving a more natural look. Don’t forget under-eye area especially when you have dark circles.
Foundation
Choose a smooth, even-toned base that is similar to your natural skin color. Use fingers or a good-quality sponge to apply foundation. The right foundation will seem to disappear when applied over face. Light to medium shades are good for fair skin. Darker shades are for African skin.
Eye makeup
Earthy tones such as gold, brown, beige or plum eye shadows will look great. Charcoal grey or brown for mascara and eye liner are perfect. Transparent mascara is also a good option. You can skip liner and mascara if you want to keep it very light.
Blush
Choose a blush that matches your pink cheeks. It will give light, subtle look and not overdone.
Lip color
Skin, mud, brown, pink or other lighter shades of lip gloss are fine. These should be light or neutral. Dark colored lip pencil is not the right thing. Skip drawing fine outline or use very light shade so that it merges well with lipstick.
Contouring
It is optional. If you think your nose needs it then use light brown shade to contour and give good shape to your nose. Otherwise, enhance natural features as much as possible.
